"I would like to see a friendship page ( Adults over 45) we have a very nice pub/restaurant (Lighthouse) within walking distant of most (staggering back) ha!ha! I am a lone women and of the age where we were brought up not to go into pubs alone so how nice it would be to have get togethers down the pub, so how about it.
Looking forward to a few nights out with new friends."
This has now been running for more than a year, and we certainly have made new friends, many meeting at additional times, away from the group, which is great.
We have had an enquiry from a gentleman, new to the village who would like to come along but doesn’t want to be the only gent – so come along and join in you men, don’t be shy of us ladies !
